TYG in New York City is seeking a Building Envelope Consultant to join our team. You will work on projects from high-rise residential towers to commercial and institutional buildings, gaining exposure to restoration and design work in the city.

Responsibilities include investigations, reporting, design, and construction administration while collaborating with architects, engineers, and project managers to deliver practical solutions that meet NYC codes, including Local Law 11.

Formación

• Strong technical writing, detailing, and communication skills.
• Professional licenses such as RA, PE, or QEWI are a plus but not required.
• Licensure support will be provided toward licensure.

Responsabilidades

• Perform façade and roof investigations, condition assessments, leak investigations, and field inspections.
• Prepare detailed reports, technical drawings, and repair or replacement recommendations.
• Develop design documents for façade, roofing, waterproofing, and building envelope systems.
• Provide construction administration services including shop drawing review, submittals, RFIs, and site observations.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and project managers to deliver practical solutions.
• Stay current with NYC regulations including FISP (Local Law 11) and other building code requirements.
