Job summary

TYG, partnering with a leading specialist consultancy, seeks a Principal to join its established Building Envelope practice in New York.

This senior leadership role blends technical project delivery with client development and the ongoing growth of the NYC practice.

You will lead complex facade and building enclosure projects, mentor staff, advance business development, and influence the firm's trajectory in a high‑profile market.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in building envelope consulting, design or a related field.
• Strong background in new construction and building enclosure design.
• PE, RA or equivalent professional licensure.
• Experience leading complex projects and managing senior client relationships.
• Strong understanding of facade and building enclosure systems.
• Ability to contribute to business development and practice growth.
• Previous experience mentoring and developing technical teams.
