UES is seeking a Building Envelope Consultant to lead technical consultation, design support, and full lifecycle project management for building envelope systems. You will guide projects from schematic design through construction administration, ensuring accurate specifications, drawing quality, and effective financial execution in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Architecture required.
• 5+ years of experience in building envelope design, inspections, building construction, QA/QC, or materials testing.
• Professional Engineer or AIA (Registered Architect) required; licensure to sign and seal drawings.

Responsabilités

• Support building envelope design across all phases from Schematic Design to Construction Administration.
• Define performance criteria for roofing, waterproofing, exterior wall, and fenestration systems.
• Prepare and coordinate technical specifications for roofing, waterproofing, exterior wall, and fenestration systems.
• Review and validate submittals, shop drawings, and roof drainage calculations.
• Develop detailed system drawings and details for roofing, waterproofing, exterior walls, and windows.
• Manage projects from start to finish including bidding, RFIs, addenda, and OCA meetings.
