Job summary

LVI Associates is seeking a Building Envelope Consultant to join the Puget Sound team. This role blends fieldwork, technical problem-solving, client interaction, and project management across commercial, institutional, educational, healthcare, and multifamily projects.

The candidate should have a strong foundation in building envelope systems, construction documentation, and site coordination, with a flexible hybrid work setup and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Building Science, Construction Management, or related field.
• 3+ years of building envelope consulting or related experience.
• Knowledge of roofing, waterproofing, wall systems, fenestration, and building science.
• Experience with construction documents, specs, and construction administration.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform site visits and work on active construction sites.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Conduct building envelope assessments, investigations, and surveys.
• Perform field reviews and QA observations during construction.
• Review drawings, specs, shop drawings, and submittals.
• Evaluate roofing, waterproofing, walls, fenestration, and air/water barriers.
• Prepare technical reports and recommendations.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, contractors and project teams.
• Assist with forensic investigations and remediation recommendations.
• Participate in project meetings, mockups, and site visits.
• Manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality results.
