CBRE Building Engineer position in Beachwood, OH, focuses on monitoring, maintaining, and repairing building system operations across plumbing, electrical, heating, cooling, and related areas. This role supports preventive maintenance and energy management programs to uphold safety and compliance.

The candidate will handle complex tasks, follow safety guidelines, and lead by example within the CBRE team, ensuring performance aligns with client expectations.

Formación

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience.
• Universal CFC certification is preferred.
• Certifications/licenses as may be required by local/state jurisdictions.
• Must meet physical requirements including lifting 50 lbs or more.
• Ability to exercise judgment based on multiple information sources.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational and analytical thinking abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical, plumbing, structural, fire life safety and control systems.
• Keep building systems up to applicable standards and codes.
• Follow safety guidelines and company directives for building operations.
• Maintain an energy management program and ensure systems operate efficiently.
• Assist with preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment life.
• Perform emergency repairs as needed.
• Review building systems inspections to ensure proper operation and environmental conditions.
