Job summary

Carr Properties seeks an Engineer III to oversee day porters and maintenance teams while maintaining HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and control systems across the property portfolio.

The role includes responding to tenant requests, troubleshooting complex systems, and supporting capital projects. OSHA-10 and Universal CFC certification are required, along with a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• OSHA 10 or higher safety training required.
• Universal CFC Certification required for refrigeration.
• Appropriate license/permit for trade as required by jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day porters, maintenance technicians, and assistants.
• Maintain and operate large and small HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boiler and control systems.
• Respond to tenant service requests and troubleshoot building systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on chillers, pumps, fans, and electrical gear.
• Assist with budget development and TI project reviews.
• Participate in snow removal and emergency response as needed.
