Perform ongoing monitoring, preventive maintenance, and repair of building equipment and systems and respond to building occupant service requests. Prepare event set up for on-site meetings and special events.
High school diploma or equivalent. Some formal training in operation of mechanical equipment preferred.
Three to six months' related facility management experience required.
Must pay close attention to detail, take initiative, be able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, work both independently and as part of a team, and promote and maintain a positive and cooperative team-oriented work environment with a commitment to fostering a culture where everyone feels valued and respected. Excellent communication and customer service skills essential, as well as a strong mechanical aptitude with the ability and willingness to advance this knowledge through ongoing training. Must be able to lift/carry/move up to 50 lbs., work in a bending or kneeling position and within tight spaces, climb stairs and ladders, work outside in varying weather conditions, and withstand hot and cold temperatures. Some overtime required as well as flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as scheduled or in response to an emergency.
A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $30.69/hr - $32.40/hr. Compensation decisions take into account a wide range of factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, certifications, geographic location, business needs, and organizational policies. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer.
