ASM Global-SMG is looking for a Building Engineer – Event Foreman in Denver, Colorado. This pivotal role involves coordinating event service needs while ensuring all maintenance and technical support for facilities are met. You will perform regular checks, support HVAC systems, and lead safety initiatives.

Reports To: Chief Building Engineer
FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt
This position falls under the City of Denver Prevailing Wage Law. The base rate is $35.04/hr, however other rates may apply depending on job assignment within the scope of the job description.
Coordinate event service needs of clients. Coordinate maintenance projects with shift Engineers. Provide technical and physical support for shift Engineers. Spot check PMs to ensure proper adherence to industry standards. Perform all building operators’ regular duties when needed, including for coverage of paid time off. Maintain shop supplies and cleanliness.

Heavy lifting up to 50 lbs; may include manual labor. Tools and equipment that could cause personal harm or injury, if improperly handled. Position may require certifications by law and/or job assignment. Position requires frequent walking, climbing stairs, standing on cement floors, turning, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, pushing and pulling; may be subject to adverse working conditions; dust, grime, noise, fumes, wet floors etc., including weather; may require use of an electric cart; may require tools and equipment operation that could cause personal harm or injury, if improperly handled; requires irregular and/or extended hours, including weekends, evening, and holidays, determined by event schedule and/or department need; requires radio usage – 2‑way hand held.
