As a CBRE Building Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining and repairing building system operations and the performance of various areas including plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating, and cooling.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
This position is a 1 st shift role Monday – Friday and will require the Building Engineer to work on-site in the Redmond WA area.
The Building Engineer will apply advanced technical and operational skills for the preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective repair (CR) of commercial buildings, labs, essential utility systems and grounds for our Global Tech client. Working under limited supervision, you will monitor building system operations and performance, applying a versatile skill set that encompasses multiple trades, such as mechanical troubleshooting, plumbing, electrical work, painting, and specialized heating and cooling (HVAC) system service to ensure continuous, safe, and compliant facility operations.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future. This role will require a background check including drug testing.
CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Building Engineer position is $36.05 hourly and the maximum salary for the Building Engineer position is $42.79 hourly. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
