Hourly Wage

ISS offers a range of $31.06 per hour - $37.02 per hour.

Key Purpose

The Building Engineer reports to the Site Operations Manager and ensures all facility equipment is maintained to high standards. The role involves complex maintenance and repair of building systems, promoting safety, and working collaboratively with the team.

Core Responsibilities

• Perform inspection, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Handle refrigerant and electrical troubleshooting.
• Manage and support maintenance of elevators, fire safety systems, and UPS.
• Partner with contractors and vendors, ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate data in CMMS systems and report as needed.
• Follow safety protocols, including lockout/tagout and 5S principles.
• Perform general maintenance tasks and respond to emergencies.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel within the region.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Prolonged walking or standing, lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Work may be required during days, nights, weekends, or holidays.
• Work at heights and in various environments.
