SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Director of Engineering, the Building Engineer responds to all General Maintenance service calls. Responsible for performing necessary tasks and demonstrating knowledge relating to hotel or property maintenance.

While performing the duties of this Job, the associate is regularly required to talk or hear. The associate is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The associate is occasionally required to sit and taste or smell. The associate must frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Requires repetitive motion and manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and color vision. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; extreme cold; extreme heat and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Must be able to climb as a part of this position.
