The Building Engineer's primary responsibilities will include the inspections of building systems at the office and retail properties, parking garages and other corporate assets within Columbia, Maryland. The Building Engineer will assist with hands on duties as needed related to all property services and work with outside contractors in completing construction, maintenance, and other required projects. The Building Engineer will also assist with budget preparation, bid requests, project/contractor oversight and other duties as assigned.
Compensation: $60-90K plus benefits based on experience.
The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, high precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, toxic chemicals and outside weather conditions.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
