Job summary

Qualifications

• BS/BA in mechanical engineering, architectural engineering, building science, or related field with 2 years programming/data analysis, or MS/MA/PhD in related field.
• Proficiency in developing building energy models using EnergyPlus or OpenStudio.
• Demonstrated experience in programming and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and troubleshoot EnergyPlus/OpenStudio models for building energy simulations.
• Design and conduct simulation studies to evaluate technologies, codes, and standards.
• Develop tools and workflows for large-scale building simulations and data management.
• Collaborate with specialists to apply AI-enabled methods to modeling and analysis.
• Communicate progress and results in project meetings and technical forums.
