Job summary

The Building Systems Group at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) seeks a Buildings Energy Research Engineer/Scientist to lead and contribute to evaluating building energy program impacts, field validation tests, and performance of water heaters, HVAC, and other systems.

You will develop methods to analyze technologies for greater efficiency, optimization, and resiliency of building systems, supporting DOE-funded projects and collaborating with regional stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience to include: construction, operations, or testing of residential or commercial buildings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with sponsors and program managers to complete tasks on time and within budget.
• Present program results to clients and others; travel up to 25% may be required.
• Attend conferences and present results of work, and support energy storage education in public forums and via invited presentations.
