Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical coursework preferred.
• 1–3 years experience in construction, roofing, waterproofing, or materials testing.
• Basic understanding of building materials and envelope systems.
• Willingness to work at heights and follow safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections and quality assurance observations of roofing, waterproofing, air barrier, exterior wall, glazing, door, and cladding systems on various construction projects.
• Help evaluate how building enclosure systems are installed and perform by comparing conditions to plans and manufacturer requirements.
• Conduct and assist with specialized building envelope testing (water penetration, air leakage, adhesion, moisture, performance).
• Set up and operate testing equipment to assess performance of windows, curtain walls, and waterproofing systems.
• Document field observations, testing results, deficiencies, and corrective actions with project teams.
• Review construction drawings and manufacturer installation requirements to support inspections and testing.
