ECS Group of Companies is seeking a Building Enclosure Project Associate to join our Pacific Building Science & Infrastructure team in Irvine, CA. You will support building enclosure consulting projects through field investigations, testing, analysis, and report preparation, collaborating with experienced consultants and multidisciplinary teams to deliver practical solutions.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of related experience in building enclosure consulting or similar field.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering, Architecture (NCARB), or related field.
• Licensure or certifications may be required depending on the work performed.

Responsibilities

• Perform building enclosure testing, inspections, and consulting services.
• Conduct site observations of roofing and building enclosure systems.
• Interpret drawings and site plans; assist CAD work as needed.
• Develop testing protocols and test plans; interpret results and recommend actions.
• Assist with forensic assessments, commissioning, and building enclosure investigations.
• Support design reviews and peer review of specifications and submittals.
• Maintain familiarity with IBC, ASHRAE, ASTM, and CSI.
