Job summary

Chimes in Maryland is seeking a dedicated custodian to perform cleaning and building services across public and work spaces, including executive areas as described in the contract. You will work Monday to Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm, with a set pay rate of $17.20 per hour.

This role is part of the AbilityOne Program and requires adherence to safety and facility procedures. Experience in custodial work preferred, with ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and follow site-specific

Qualifications

• Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to go up and down stairs.
• Ability to lift, carry, and push up to 50 lbs, frequently.
• Ability to work with limited direct supervision.
• Ability to follow contract specifications and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean all assigned areas in accordance with contract specifications.
• Clean restrooms and washrooms; maintain hygiene standards.
• Dust surfaces, polish furniture and glass; scrub floors and carpets.
• Empty and clean trash and recycling; keep areas orderly.
• Attend required trainings and follow building security requirements.
