Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B.V. (KPO) is seeking a Controls Technician based in Marietta, Georgia. The role involves providing control system support and preventive maintenance across various product lines, ensuring customer satisfaction and safety. Candidates must possess at least 3 years of service experience and effective communication skills.
This full-time position includes daily travel in the Atlanta area and may require evening or weekend work. A high school diploma is required, with HVAC experience preferred.
The Controls Technician represents CMS Controls as the direct customer contact and is responsible for all service‑related control tasks. These tasks include spot/emergency service calls, preventive maintenance, and small repair projects. Controls technicians work closely with the dispatcher and team leader for daily assignments and weekly scheduling.
In this position, you will establish and maintain a positive relationship with customers, vendors, and coworkers, using effective oral and written communication skills via phone, computer, and face‑to‑face interactions. Job stress ranges from moderate to extreme.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Controls technicians work primarily in commercial buildings, office buildings, schools, hospitals, government facilities, and factories. Work sites may be very hot or cold because of malfunctioning heating and cooling systems, and some system components are located outdoors. Working in cramped spaces and during irregular hours is common. Ability to climb ladders to access rooftop units is required.
The position is moderately physical and requires regular use of PCs, walking, electrical tools, and networking equipment. Some work may be outdoors, in cramped or tight spaces, or involve working on a PC.
This is a full‑time position, typically Monday‑through‑Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with frequent overtime and irregular hours.
Daily travel to CMS Controls locations in the greater Atlanta, GA area is required.
