Job summary

ESS is seeking a Substitute Teacher at Mars Middle School and Mars High School in Mars, PA. The substitute will support classroom instruction in the absence of a regular teacher, follow lesson plans, assist students, and maintain regular classroom routines.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree and PA teaching certification or eligible Act 86 candidates, plus required clearances. Position offers daily pay of $125 and a flexible, school-based schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• PA Teacher Certification or eligible Act 86 requirements.
• Must have PA clearances: Act 34, Act 126, Act 151, Act 114, and Act 24 as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide meaningful instruction to students in assigned classrooms while regular teacher is absent.
• Review and implement regular teacher's routines, procedures, lesson plans, and curriculum objectives.
• Establish and maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment.
• Report any student injuries, illness, and serious discipline problems to school administration.
• Perform other duties as directed by school administration.
