Job summary

Siemens in Pelham, AL is seeking a Service Specialist to perform service on building automation systems, respond to emergency calls, and support after-hours on-call rotations. You will work with Service Sales, Client Service Managers, and RAM Digital Service Center to ensure energy efficiencies and reliable operations.

Basic qualifications include 1+ year servicing electronic control or HVAC equipment, electro-mechanical experience, and ability to work in diverse environments.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience servicing electronic control or HVAC equipment.
• Electro-mechanical experience (education or previous role) and PC/software skills.
• Willingness to work in various environments (ladders, ducts, crawl spaces, roofs, basements, above ceilings).
• Must be able to use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet; lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Execute digitalization and standard service operations strategies.
• Coordinate with Service Sales, Client Service Managers, Service Coordinators, and RAM Digital Service Center.
• Follow safety requirements and complete required training.
• Maintain tools and test equipment and document service tickets.
• Provide system operation instructions to customers and assist with training.
• Identify discrepancies, suggest upgrades, assist in pricing repairs, and perform system startup on projects.
• Work overtime during on-call rotation and occasional overnight travel.
• Participate in job site final walks and turnover on assigned projects.
