Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years in installation and startup of HVAC, building automation, or security systems.
• Knowledge of BACnet, LON, and MODBUS protocols.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work in high-pressure situations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong collaboration with internal and external teams.
• Experience with Office 365, File Structure, and Visio.

Responsibilities

• Attend customer meetings and relay action items to Project Manager.
• Participate in system startup and commissioning using standard checkout processes.
• Prepare subcontractor bidding documents and manage schedules and changes.
• Review field sketches for change orders and provide feedback.
• Manage subcontractors and on-site coordination with other trades.
• Ensure site safety plans, audits, PPE, toolbox talks, and jobsite requirements.
• Update design drawings and maintain redline documentation.
• Coordinate material deliveries to site/subcontractors.
• Perform QA/QC for project documentation and commissioning.
• Diagnose hardware/software issues and troubleshoot installations.
