Harris County is seeking an on-site Controls Technician responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting automated HVAC control systems to maintain production uptime. You’ll perform preventive maintenance, coordinate with OEMs, and assist with startup and commissioning of new systems.
A background with AHUs, chillers, and complex building controls is required, along with strong communication skills. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, travel up to 25%, and flexibility to work varying shifts.
Responsible for monitoring the control systems of automated equipment utilizing software to verify that the controls are within certain parameters. When controls exceed or fall below specifications, they must quickly troubleshoot the problem to avoid or minimize interruptions to production.

Full-Time | Regular | 40 hours per week.
Subject to early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays at times, depending upon the project or workload.
Salary: Commensurate experience, based on 26 pay periods.
May work outside in all kinds of weather; may work with no air conditioning or heating. This position requires bending, stooping, and lifting to 25 lbs., frequent walking, standing, sitting, reaching, and ascending/descending stairs.
