As a Building Automation Systems Technician, you will be empowered to lead complex installations, travel nationwide, and shape the success of sophisticated facility systems powering top-tier data centers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct on-site field operations for the installation of BAS and HVAC control systems across diverse projects.
  • Integrate, retrofit, and commission control panels, field devices, and smart building technology.
  • Perform system testing, quality assurance, and client-facing demonstrations to ensure functionality and satisfaction.
  • Troubleshoot complex automation environments using standard and AI-driven diagnostics tools.
  • Maintain site documentation, enforce safety protocols, and support compliance throughout all phases.
  • Collaborate in the estimating and planning phases of projects, including bid walks and technical assessments.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on BAS field installation and troubleshooting (Distech and Tridium Niagara preferred).
  • Expertise in interpreting AE drawings and implementing relay logic in control systems.
  • Proven leadership in field operations, with the ability to manage subcontractors and communicate with stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with MS Office suite and readiness to adopt emerging technology, including AI platforms.
  • Willingness to travel nationwide up to 75%; must hold valid US work authorization and a REAL ID or passport.
