Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Systems Specialist I - Building Automation Systems (BMS) for on-site support of data center projects in Boardman and Hermiston, Oregon. The role focuses on troubleshooting HVAC, BAS/BMS, and performing electrical and mechanical diagnostics in mission-critical environments.

The candidate will participate in installation, commissioning, and service activities, document work, and coordinate with customers and internal teams to ensure reliable facility operations.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting HVAC systems.
• Exposure to Building Automation Systems (BAS) or Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Experience performing electrical and mechanical diagnostics.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and system information.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Job description

Our client in Boardman/Hermiston, OR is currently hiring for a Systems Specialist I - Building Automation Systems (BMS). This position is a fully onsite opportunity supporting data center projects in the Boardman and Hermiston areas. The ideal candidate will have experience troubleshooting HVAC systems, supporting building automation systems, and performing electrical and mechanical diagnostics in mission-critical environments.

Pay

• $27.00 - $34.00/hour (depending on experience, technical knowledge, relevant job titles, and overall qualifications)

Location

• Boardman, OR / Hermiston, OR
• 100% Onsite

Schedule

• Standard Monday-Friday schedule (40+ hours per week)
• Additional hours may be available based on project demands

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC, electrical, and mechanical system issues.

Job Type & Location

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $34.00/hr.
