Siemens AG in Sandy, UT is seeking a Building Automation Specialist to install, startup, and commission building automation equipment for our customers across the Salt Lake City area. You will verify system databases, ensure sequences of operation align with scope, and support energy-saving outcomes.

The role requires 1+ years in electronic control or HVAC installation, ability to read construction docs, and willingness to work overtime or travel as needed. Local candidates preferred.

Competenze

• 1+ years of experience installing and servicing electronic control or HVAC equipment.
• Electro-mechanical experience and PC/software skills.
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret design and construction documents.
• Ability and willingness to work in varied conditions including ladders, ducts, and high lift equipment.
• Must be able to use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet and lift up to 75 pounds.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Mansioni

• Commission new distributed digital control systems on construction sites within planned timelines.
• Plan work with Lead Technician and Team Leader.
• Assist with data back-up and setup of PC workstations/user interfaces; troubleshoot issues.
• Support confirmation of proper network performance.
• Perform operational testing, verification, and customer training on system operations.
• Submit routine reports and provide plans/drawings to engineering for as-built docs.
• Coordinate with trade contractors and submit time/expense reports.
• Work overtime as needed.
• Occasional on-call work and minimal overnight travel.
• Adhere to safety policies and work in a team environment.
