Job summary

Siemens AG in Austin, TX is seeking a Senior Building Automation Systems Specialist to install, start up, and commission building automation systems. Qualifications

3+ years of experience with electro-mechanical systems and PC/software.
Experience with integration of low voltage building sub-systems and industry protocols such as LON, BACnet, N2, Modbus.
Ability to work in diverse environments including ladders, scaffolds, ducts, and varying conditions.
Must be able to use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet; lift up to 75 pounds.
Must have Microsoft Office proficiency and be willing to overtime/on-call.
Must have a valid driver's license with limited violations and eligibility for Siemens fleet vehicle program.
Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Commission new distributed digital control systems on construction sites within planned timelines.
Document commissioning details and communicate deficiencies and progress.
Lead technician planning with Team Leader and coordinate with the project team.
Perform network/data backup and troubleshoot sequence of operations; configure PCs/UI.
