UT Austin is seeking a Building Automation Systems Operator to join the Facilities Operations and Maintenance team in Austin, TX. You will monitor the campus BAS from a central control room, evaluate alarms, and coordinate responses to ensure reliable building operations across laboratories and iconic facilities.
The role also serves as the after-hours dispatch point for maintenance issues, handling emergency calls and creating accurate work orders while delivering professional customer service

This is a 40 hour work week. Multiple shifts depending on availability with days rotating to include some weekends. hours to be discussed with supervisor.
Provide journey level technical skills associated with monitoring the campus wide Building Automation System (BAS) from a central campus control room. Evaluate the BAS alarms and determine a response and resolution. This position also serves as the after‑hours call center for all campus maintenance issues and provides emergency dispatch of personnel.
