Job summary

The University of Louisville Health Sciences Center seeks a Control Technician III to install, program, startup and maintain building automation systems across campus. You will troubleshoot pneumatic, electrical, and digital controls, read schematics, and coordinate with other trades to ensure optimal energy use and comfort.

You must have a high school diploma or GED with 4+ years of related experience, plus a valid driver’s license and on-call availability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with at least 4 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Pre-employment physical exam and valid driver's license required and insurable.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, startup, commission and maintain BAS for campus buildings.
• Troubleshoot pneumatic, electrical and digital control systems and read wiring diagrams.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on building automation and controls.
• Operate and calibrate HVAC sensors and actuators; coordinate with other trades.
• Demonstrate energy management techniques and support system upgrades.
