Job summary

Siemens Mobility is seeking a Service Specialist for our Chantilly, VA location to support building automation systems and service agreements. You will respond to emergencies, perform repairs, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure energy efficiency and system reliability.

The role requires 1+ year(s) in servicing electronic control or HVAC equipment, plus PC and MS Office skills. Candidates must be able to lift 75 lb, work overtime, and be legally eligible to work in the US.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience servicing electronic control or HVAC equipment.
• Electro-mechanical experience and user PC/software skill.
• Ability and willingness to work in a variety of circumstances, including climbing ladders, scaffolds, and high lift equipment.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and carry tools.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Willing to work overtime and be on on-call rotation.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Execute digitalization and standard service operations strategies.
• Collaborate with Service Sales, Client Service Managers, Service Coordinators, and RAM Digital Service Center personnel.
• Follow safety requirements and complete required training as outlined in the training path.
• Maintain tools and test equipment; may coordinate with contractors on job sites.
• Support after hours during on-call rotation; perform repairs on all automation systems.
• Complete service ticket documentation and maintain preventive maintenance schedules.
• Provide instructions to customer personnel and assist with training.
• Identify discrepancies and upgrade opportunities; assist in pricing repairs and startups.
• Perform system checkout and startup on projects; participate in job site final walks.
• Work overtime when needed; travel may be involved.
