Job summary

Siemens Mobility in the Richmond, VA area seeks a Systems Specialist to join our building automation team. You will participate in installation, startup and commissioning of distributed digital control systems and help verify databases and sequences of operations.

You will work with Technicians, perform testing, and generate reports. The ideal candidate has 1+ year experience with HVAC/electronic controls, is comfortable with ladders and lifting up to 75 pounds, and is authorized to work in the

Qualifications

1+ years installing and servicing electronic control or HVAC equipment.
Electro-mechanical experience and PC/software skills.
Reading and interpreting design/construction documents.
Willing to work in ladders, scaffolds, ducts, and varying conditions.
Able to lift up to 75 pounds and use hand tools, laptop, phone and tablet.
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Willing to work overtime as needed.
Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Commission new distributed digital control systems on construction sites within planned timelines and document commissioning details.
Plan work with Lead Technician and Team Leader.
Assist with data backup, troubleshooting and setup of PC workstations and interfaces.
Support verification of network performance and system operation.
Perform testing, final inspection, and customer training on system operations.
