Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Laurel, MD is seeking Systems Specialists to join our on-site team supporting the Washington, D.C. area. You will install, startup, and commission building automation systems, verify databases, and ensure operations align with the scope of work.

You will interact with customers, plan with leads, troubleshoot PC and network issues, document results, and assist with training. Candidates should have 1+ year experience with HVAC/electronic controls, be able to read construction

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience installing and servicing electronic control or HVAC equipment.
• Hands-on experience with PC/software troubleshooting and PC hardware.
• Ability to read design and construction documents.
• Willingness to work in varied environments including ladders and confined spaces.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel; authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Commission new distributed digital control systems on construction sites within planned timelines.
• Plan work with Lead Technician and Team Leader.
• Support network and data backup tasks; assist with troubleshooting.
• Perform operational testing, verification, and acceptance; assist with customer training.
• Submit routine reports and provide documents for as-built drawings.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and schedule startup services.
• Overtime and on-call as needed.
