Job summary

You will support preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems, ensuring compliance with codes and safety directives while coordinating with contractors and internal teams to meet client requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience.
• Licenses or certifications as may be required by local applicable law or ordinance.
• Prior shift leader or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a total facilities systems management program which includes electrical, mechanical, life, and safety systems.
• Comply with applicable codes, regulations, governmental agencies, and company directives related to system operations and work safety.
• Inspect systems to ensure operation of equipment within design capabilities and client requirements.
• Oversee scope development, work request initiation, scheduling, and inspection of work performed by outside contractors.
• Respond quickly to emergency situations and coordinate with needed personnel.
• Review work orders, estimate time and resources, and order materials to complete repairs.
• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance; document maintenance and repair records.
• Complete required training and participate in related programs and activities.
• Report conditions that could cause accidents or injuries and stop work if required.
• Apply in-depth knowledge to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
• Coach others and share knowledge within the function.
• Lead by example and promote CBRE RISE values while building consensus.
• Impact a range of activities within own team and related teams.
• Work within broad guidelines and explain difficult or sensitive information.
