Job summary

CBRE seeks a Building Automation System Engineer in the Seattle area to oversee operation and maintenance of building automation systems, maximizing efficiency and minimizing costs. You will support preventive maintenance, repairs, and system integrations, ensuring compliance with codes and safety standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating with contractors, managing work orders, responding to emergencies, and documenting maintenance activities while upholding CBRE values and safety

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma; 4–5 years of related experience or equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a total facilities systems management program for electrical, mechanical, life, and safety systems.
• Inspect systems to ensure operation meets design specs and client requirements.
• Oversee scope development, scheduling, and inspection of work by outside contractors.
• Respond quickly to emergencies and coordinate needed assistance.
• Review work orders, estimate time/resources, and procure materials.
• Perform maintenance and repairs; keep maintenance records.
• Participate in incident investigations, audits, and safety programs.
• Coach and share knowledge; lead by example per CBRE values.
