You will contribute to hardware design for BAS/BMS in commercial and industrial environments, working with cutting-edge technology to streamline complex mechanical systems and drive project innovation. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in hardware design within BAS/BMS, proficiency with Visio or AutoCAD/Revit, and hands-on experience with Distech Controls

Qualifications

• 5+ years in hardware design engineering within BAS/BMS.
• Proficient in AutoCAD/Revit for submittals and layouts.
• Experience with Distech Controls hardware and Tridium Niagara framework (N4/AX).
• Understanding of HVAC systems including Chiller Plants, Steam Generation, VRF/VRV.

Qualifications & Skills Needed

• Experience: 5+ years in hardware design engineering within BAS/BMS.
• Software Tools: Proficient in Microsoft Visio or AutoCAD/Revit for submittals and hardware layouts.
• Hardware & Software Platforms: Experience with Distech Controls hardware and Tridium Niagara framework (N4/AX).
• Mechanical Knowledge: Understanding of HVAC systems including Chiller Plants, Steam Generation, and VRF/VRV systems.
• Networking & Protocols: Knowledge of BACnet IP/MS-TP, Modbus RTU/TCP.
• Codes: Familiarity with NEC standards and UL 508A panel design.

Preferred Skills

• Tridium Niagara N4 Certification.
• Distech Controls certification or specialized training.
• Experience in mechanical troubleshooting, HVAC service, or field commissioning.
