Job summary

CMS Controls, a Piedmont Service Group company, is hiring electricians for Building Automation System (HVAC controls) installation in North Carolina. We seek career-minded, team players for growth and leadership opportunities as working supervisors and journeyman control electricians.

You will read control drawings, lay out cable/conduit, install sensors and relays, and coordinate with foremen and superintendents across trades. Strong HVAC background and multi-project capability are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in commercial electrical installation.
• 6+ years in DDC/Process Controls installation preferred.
• Experience with conduit installation and reading control drawings.
• Valid NC driver license and ability to pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of electricians on BAS/HVAC control installs.
• Lay out cable and conduit runs, size conduits, and order materials.
• Coordinate with foremen and superintendents across trades.
• Read engineered control drawings and document punch lists.
