Job summary

Systems Contractors, A Fidelity Company, is hiring an experienced Controls Install Lead in Greensboro, NC. The role oversees installation, startup, and commissioning of BAS and HVAC control systems, coordinating with project managers, technicians, electricians, and customers to deliver projects safely and on schedule.

You will train junior installers, read wiring diagrams, and ensure adherence to electrical codes and company quality standards while solving field issues quickly.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience installing HVAC controls or BAS
• Strong HVAC systems and controls background
• Electrical experience including reading schematics and field wiring
• Proven ability to lead projects with minimal supervision
• Experience with startup and commissioning of control systems
• Excellent communication and leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Lead installation of HVAC control and BAS systems and related electrical components
• Read wiring diagrams, control drawings, blueprints, and project specs
• Install control panels, sensors, actuators, and related equipment
• Perform electrical wiring for low-voltage and control systems
• Coordinate daily activities with PMs, subcontractors, and field personnel
• Ensure installations meet quality standards and codes
• Train and mentor junior installers and technicians
• Identify and resolve field issues to keep projects on schedule
• Maintain project documentation and communicate progress to teams and customers
