Job summary

ACES is hiring experienced electricians for immediate full-time roles in Hampton, VA. The position covers the installation of building automation systems, including wiring, conduit, panels, field devices, and DDC controllers.

Travel to sites is expected (about 10%), with overtime possible based on project needs. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of electrician experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, a clean driving record, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 1 year of electrician experience.
• Electrician's License preferred.
• Must have a clean driving record and pass a background check.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Computer experience is required.
• Familiarity with concepts of new construction.
• Ability to work independently and unsupervised.
• Customer service oriented, able to interact with customers.

Responsibilities

• Read jobsite drawings to understand installation areas and requirements.
• Install and terminate low voltage cable.
• Bend and install conduit (EMT, Ridgid, PVC).
• Install panels to walls and HVAC equipment.
• Install field devices such as sensors and thermostats for HVAC.
• Install DDC controllers in panels.
• Read wiring drawings to wire equipment.
• Travel 10% to job sites and other duties as required.
