Job summary

ACES is hiring full-time electricians to join our installation team in Hampton, VA. You will handle installation of building automation system components and related wiring per drawings.

Responsibilities include reading drawings, installing low voltage cables and conduits, mounting panels, and wiring DDC controllers. Some travel (10%) and overtime may be required; prior HVAC/electrical experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; minimum 1 year experience in electrician field.
• Electrician's license preferred.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background check.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products and basic computer skills.
• Familiarity with construction concepts.

Responsibilities

• Read jobsite drawings to understand installation requirements.
• Install and terminate low voltage cable.
• Bend and install conduit (EMT, Ridgid, PVC).
• Mount panels to walls and HVAC equipment; install field devices.
• Install DDC controllers in panels.
• Wiring per ACES drawings; travel 10% with occasional overnight stays.
• Perform other duties as required.

SUMMARY:

ACES is offering immediate full-time positions for self-motivated and experienced electricians to join our growing installation team.

This role involves all aspects of the installation process for building automation systems.

POSITION TYPE:

Full-Time, overtime may be required based on project needs

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

• Read jobsite drawings (Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) to understand proper installation areas and requirements
• Install and terminate low voltage cable
• Bend and install conduit consisting of EMT, Ridgid, and PVC
• Install panels to walls and HVAC equipment
• Install field devices such as sensors, thermostats, and damper actuators for HVAC equipment
• Install DDC controllers in panels
• Read ACES generated wiring drawings to understand how to wire equipment
• Willingness to learn and grow in the organization and support the team.
• Utilize various hand tools and equipment and maintain tools and equipment for proper functionality.
• Some travel with occasional overnight stays. (10%)
• Other duties as required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:
