Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a skilled technician to perform system commissioning using our configuration and commissioning tools. You will troubleshoot HVAC mechanical and electrical issues, respond to basic warranty calls, and serve customers with high-quality service to improve building efficiency.

Load controller software, complete documentation, and communicate with customers and contractors. Maintain safety, upsell where appropriate, and provide quotes for recommended solutions.

Qualifications

• Requires a Vocational School four year program or an Associate degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning or similar field plus three years of industry experience or 1 year experience in servicing electronic and/or mechanical systems in the HVAC industry.
• Knowledge of HVAC controls, facilities management systems, site preparation, peripheral equipment installation and servicing techniques.

Responsibilities

• Load system-level controller software and perform basic commissioning.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and controls issues.
• Provide the highest level of service to customers to address building inefficiencies.
• Complete commissioning documentation and communicate progress to customers.
• Maintain safety and perform required safety training.
