Qualifications

• 4+ years of Building Automation Systems experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC controls systems, facilities management systems, site preparation, peripheral equipment installation and servicing techniques.
• Strong interpersonal skills to professionally represent Johnson Controls to customers and external contacts.
• Ability to explain technical information to technical and non-technical people; leadership to guide mechanics on non-complex Building Automation work.
• Experience with programming HVAC related software is required.

Responsibilities

• Load system-level controller software.
• Perform basic commissioning and system diagnostics from system-level controllers to end devices and complete commissioning documentation.
• Keep management and client informed of progress and issues.
• Calibrate systems using basic electronic test equipment.
• Complete administrative tasks including time sheets, expense reports, and on-site documentation.
• Document changes for as-built documentation and provide information for records.
• Communicate with contractor or customer on arrival and before leaving job site.
• Follow safety standards and required training; maintain high safety standards on site.
• Provide recommendations to improve facility efficiency and include upsell opportunities; prepare quotes to support recommendations.
