Job summary

Pacific Coast Trane is seeking a Controls Project Manager in Sunnyvale, CA to lead BAS projects from inception to closeout. You will coordinate with architects, engineers, electricians, and customers to ensure fully coordinated projects and timely delivery.

The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, a proactive mindset, and experience managing budgets, schedules, and team performance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience supporting HVAC Controls construction environments.
• Familiarity with BAS platforms (Tracer SC/SC+, Niagara, BACnet).
• Knowledge of Trane Control Systems is preferred.
• Knowledge of DDC, HVAC systems/operations including reading and interpreting construction blueprints and sequence of operations.
• Knowledge of BAS project execution lifecycle.
• Experience coordinating technician schedules and construction delivery workflows.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure project documentation is delivered within project timelines.
• Interact effectively with internal and external customers.
• Manage assigned projects from booking to closeout and maintain project schedules.
• Drive project budgeting, scheduling, and quality control plans; participate in monthly reviews.
• Maintain RFI log, change orders, submittal logs, and meeting minutes.
