Kelso Industries is seeking a Project Manager specializing in Building Automation and Controls to lead the planning and execution of our new business unit expansion. This high-impact, entrepreneurial role is ideal for a strategic thinker who thrives in fast-paced, build-from-scratch environments.

You will review contracts, hire and manage subcontractors, control costs, maintain schedules, and provide weekly updates to sales and clients.

Qualifications

• Experience reviewing contract language and ensuring compliance.
• Ability to manage budgets and control project costs.
• Strong communication with clients, teams, and subcontractors.
• Ability to read plans and organize contract requirements.
• Proven ability to initiate, track, and close projects.
• Comfortable in fast-paced, build-from-scratch environments.

Responsibilities

• Review contracts to define scope, labor, and materials.
• Hire and manage subcontractors for project delivery.
• Control project costs and manpower growth.
• Provide weekly progress meetings with sales.
• Maintain detailed schedules and budgets.
• Track hours vs. estimates weekly.
• Ensure on-time project delivery and quality.
• Close-out documentation including as-built drawings.
