Jacobs is seeking a Building Automation and Controls Engineer to join our team in Cary, NC, with opportunities to work on state-of-the-art industrial and commercial facilities. You will design BAS for HVAC and mechanical systems, coordinate startup activities on-site, and ensure project quality within schedule and budget parameters.

Ideal candidates bring a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automation Engineering and at least five years of hands-on BAS/HVAC experience, plus

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Automation Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience working with Building Automation and HVAC Systems.
• Working knowledge of DDC, PLC, DCS, and other controls applications.
• Experience with AF&IDs, P&IDs, Sequence of Operations, I/O List and general/technical specifications.

Responsabilidades

• Develop Building Automation System (BAS) designs for HVAC and mechanical systems.
• Provide on-site assistance during startup and coordinate work with staff and discipline lead.
• Ensure schedule and technical quality of engineering tasks, aligning with client expectations, scope, budget and schedule.
