Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Building Automation and Controls Engineer to join our multi-site team in Conshohocken, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, and Cary. You will develop BAS designs for HVAC and mechanical systems and ensure adherence to schedule and technical quality on complex projects.

You will provide on-site startup support, coordinate activities with clients and discipline leads, and collaborate with multi-discipline teams to deliver integrated control solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Automation Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience with Building Automation and HVAC systems.
• Working knowledge of DDC, PLC and DCS controls.

We're looking for a few Building Automation and Controls Engineer in Conshohocken, PA/Cincinnati, OH/Indianapolis, IN and Cary, North Carolina locations who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients' business. Join us and you'll have the chance to work on projects including state of the art industrial and commercial facilities. You'll be accountable for schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks, as you gain familiarity with the client's expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. You'll also provide on-site assistance during startup, coordinate work activities with other staff members and the discipline lead. Your skills in multi-discipline, highly interactive team will produce Building Automation System (BAS) designs for HVAC and mechanical systems. Here's what you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Automation Engineering; or other equivalent degree is considered
• At least 5 Years of experience working with Building Automation and HVAC Systems
• Working knowledge of DDC, PLC, DCS, and other controls applications
• Experience with AF&IDs, P&IDs, Sequence of Operations, I/O List and general/technical specifications

Ideally, you'll also have
