Job Source USA, Inc. seeks Building Automation Control Technicians to install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot commercial building automation systems. Entry or experienced levels considered; pay based on background and training needs.

Benefits include a $350 attendance bonus and a standard schedule. Candidates must pass background, MVR, and drug screens, and demonstrate English proficiency while performing field installations.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years hands‑on HVAC or building automation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain building automation and HVAC control systems.
• Work with HVAC controls, access control, video security, and related systems.
• Connect and troubleshoot electrical wiring and use a multimeter for testing.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and schematics.
• Assist with system setup, testing, and performance tuning.

About This Opportunity

Seeking Building Automation Control Technicians to install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot commercial building automation systems. Candidates may be considered at an entry-level or experienced level, with pay based on their background and training needs.

Bonus Opportunity

• $350 Attendance Bonus for perfect attendance during the first 30 days

Assignment Details

Pay: $30.00/hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Assignment Type: Temp-to-Hire

Pre Employment Requirements

• Drug Screen Required

• Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) Required
• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• Client Interview Required
• Must be able to read, speak and understand English

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain building automation and HVAC control systems
• Work with HVAC controls, access control, video security, and related systems
• Connect and troubleshoot electrical wiring
• Use a multimeter for testing and diagnostics
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics
• Assist with commercial installations, system setup, testing, and performance tuning
• Diagnose and resolve system and equipment issues
• Maintain documentation related to system testing, configuration, and performance
• Follow verbal and written instructions accurately
• Utilize computers and basic IT/networking concepts as part of system setup and troubleshooting

Dress Code

• Clean T-shirt or work shirt, work jeans, and steel-toed boots. No offensive shirts.

Requirements

• HVAC background required
• Completion of an HVAC technical program or apprenticeship preferred
• 1-2 years of hands-on HVAC, access control, building automation, or video security experience preferred
• Must know how to use a multimeter
• Must have experience connecting and working with wiring
• Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams and blueprints
• Basic computer knowledge required
• IT/networking knowledge is helpful
• Schneider and Niagara software experience is a plus, but not required
• Must be able to read, speak, and understand English
• Candidates will interview with the company President and Sales Engineer and will need to demonstrate their technical knowledge
