The Village of Orland Park is seeking a part-time Building Attendant in the Recreation Department. You will help ensure a safe, welcoming environment and assist with daily room rentals and event setup.

The role offers weekday/weekend hours up to 15 per week, with weekend availability required. This position is ideal for students, retirees, or anyone seeking flexible, autonomous work in a community setting.

Key Responsibilities

• This position is responsible for maintaining a safe environment with the buildings managed by the Recreation and Parks Department. The Building Attendant supervises the building and its activities to ensure the safety of the people utilizing the facility.
• The Building Attendant is responsible for cheerfully greeting the public and building renters as well as setting up for daily room rentals.
• This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the interior of the facility, including emptying trash, and mopping floors.
• In addition, responsibilities include securing the facility.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly pay rate is $16.00 - $18.30, depending on experience and qualifications.
