Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degrees preferred.
• 1–2 years of insurance or administrative experience preferred.
• Familiarity with insurance terminology and processes preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn industry-specific software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist underwriters by collecting, reviewing, and analyzing submission documentation.
• Enter and maintain accurate data in underwriting systems and databases.
• Prepare quotes, binders, endorsements, declinations, and other correspondence.
• Communicate with agents, brokers, and internal teams to obtain missing information.
• Support the preparation and issuance of policies, renewals, and endorsements.
• Monitor deadlines for submissions, renewals, and follow-ups.
• Run preliminary risk reports (loss runs, ISO reports, credit checks).
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in preparing reports and data for meetings and reviews.
• Provide general administrative support and scheduling.
