- 5–7 years Builders Risk underwriting experience; strong reinsurance knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, underwrite, and price Builders Risk policies per guidelines.
- Analyze submissions, assess risk, and determine terms/conditions.
- Review manuscript form wording and coverages.
- Build relationships with brokers, agents, and clients to grow business.
- Collaborate with underwriting team for consistent risk assessment.
- Mentor junior underwriters and promote ongoing development.
- Monitor industry trends and market conditions for opportunities.
- Contribute to underwriting strategy, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with internal/external regulations and best practices.
