Job description

Looking for a delivery driver for our Capital Lighting location.

Starting at $19 an hour. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5pm, with weekends off!

Job Description

The driver will load, deliver, and unload at customer job sites. They will also assist with cabinets in the warehouse when there are no deliveries. The driver must have strong customer service skills as they will represent Rite Rug to our customers.

Key requirements:

• Driver’s license with a clean driving record; no CDL required.
• Ability to operate 26,000-pound air-brake non-CDL box trucks, 16’ box trucks, and vans.
• Ability to lift objects up to 75 pounds.
• Preferred experience in construction or manufacturing, but training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with strong personal accountability and dependability.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.

Delivery Driver Basic Requirements

• Must pass DOT physical (paid for by us).
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug test.
• Background check clearance.
• Subject to ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
• 1-3 months of related driving experience preferred; training available for the right candidate.

Driving Record Requirements:

• No reckless driving, DUI/OMVI, hit and run, or excessive speeding (15+ mph over).
• No preventable accidents.
• No more than two moving violations within the last 24 months.
