Job Description

Looking for a delivery driver for our Capital Lighting location.

Starting pay is $19 per hour. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5pm, with weekends off!

Responsibilities

• The driver will load, deliver, and unload at customer job sites.
• Assist with cabinets in the warehouse when not on deliveries.
• Represent Rite Rug with strong customer service skills.

Key Requirements

• Driver’s license with a clean driving record; no CDL required.
• Ability to operate 26,000-pound air-brake non-CDL box trucks, 16’ box trucks, and vans.
• Ability to lift objects up to 75 pounds.
• Prior construction or manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
• High energy, positive attitude, and dependability.
• Authorized to work in the US.

Basic Requirements

• Ability to pass DOT physical (paid for by us).
• Pre-employment drug test, background check, and ongoing drug/alcohol testing.
• 1-3 months of related driving experience preferred; training provided for the right candidate.

Driving Record

A clean driving record with no reckless driving, DUI/OMVI, hit and run, excessive speeding (15+ mph over), no preventable accidents, and no more than two moving violations in the past 24 months.
